I had a restaurant in Red Wing, MN called Old Fashioned Foods, as the name state we did everything the old fashion way. We created some good recipes for soup & other things.
I have no formal education in cooking but, I love to cook & now I want to share my recipes with my family & friends so, I chose to use a blog to communicate with my extended family across the USA.
I have added Ham & Split pea soup to My menu, with tow different recipes, Quick & Easy & With Love. People say they cook with love but what dose that mean? I think it means the extra things the cook dose to make his/her soup the best. In the "With Love" recipe I explain why we take the extra steps.

Hi
ReplyDeleteI just added Tomato Bisque to the blog, this is one of the favorite soups at Smokin Oaks where I work. This is a modification of my son Rick's recipe, Rick's recipe was too hot. I also included Rick's recipe for people that like is hot.
